I hope my story serves as a powerful reminder of the profound impact that lifestyle interventions, dietary choices, and holistic approaches can have on health and wellness.

In 2011 I was diagnosed with hashimotos thyroid disease, along with other autoimmune issues that caused my hair to fall out continuously, as well as symptoms such as brain fog, inflammation, swollen ankles, cracked skin on my legs and digestive issues. 

I was told that I was incurable. Instead of accepting the “story” about my health, I decided to be proactive, change my diet and lifestyle which eventually changed my health!

My journey toward reclaiming my health…

I was able to take proactive steps to address the root causes for my health challenges and achieve significant improvements that allowed me to reduce and eventually eliminate medications that I no longer needed.

Lowering inflammation was a pivotal factor in my healing process, leading to the resolution of various symptoms and normalization of my thyroid levels. I made lifestyle changes such as exposure to morning sunlight while doing qigong which contributed to my overall well being… alongside the dietary adjustments and stress management through daily mediation.

Eliminating inflammatory foods like dairy, gluten, eggs, and gmo oils, while focusing on whole, unprocessed foods, has had a profound impact on reducing inflammation and promoting healing. My dedication to cooking my own meals and being mindful of ingredient choices, even when dining out, was part of my commitment to my health.

Adopting a gluten-free, low-sugar diet aligned with a paleo-ketogenic anti-inflammatory approach has been effective for me.  Additionally, incorporating probiotics, prebiotics, and nutrient-dense foods like chia seeds, wild blueberries, flax seeds, spirulina, barley grass juice powder, and Atlantic Sea Dulce further supports my health.

I can also say that my experience with celery juice for inflammation reduction was very helpful.

My approach to managing my blood sugar levels through diet, monitoring, and education is what brought about success and over 20 pounds of weight loss that felt natural and easy.  I took Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo's Sweet Spot course which provided valuable insights into my blood sugar health, empowering me to make informed choices about my diet and lifestyle.

Therese practices energy medicine, which involves channeling high frequencies of compassion and harmony into an individual's energy field, while allowing the body's wisdom to guide where that energy is used.
